Bert Holman

Bert Holman stepped up to the microphone to introduce the band every night (which tapers loved!) and still steps up to the plate to handle their business affairs 24/7/365.

Kirk West

Kirk West, aka "The Tour Mystic," seemed to be everywhere before, during and after each Allman Brothers Band show. Kirk was a long-time fan who got his dream job with the ABB - taking care of them, their families, the fans, directing people and activities. Kirk is also an amazing photographer who, in addition to documenting the ABB for decades, has also photographed Muddy Waters, the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Marley, Johnny Cash, Tom Waits and many others. Kirk and Kirsten have retired from the art world. Gallery West in Macon, which they formerly owned, is under new leadership and will continue to sell Kirk's remaining souviner prints they have in stock.

Lana, the Queen of Peach

Gregg Allman referenced Lana to a group of fans (the Real Trippers) by saying "I don't know where she came from. I don't know how long she's been here. But I do know she's the magic and we love her."

Rowland

Rowland keeps this site rolling. He built it, handles technical problems and is great at answering questions related to it, or the ABB. He also has some amazing stories to tell.

Earl Francis

Earl Francis joined the Allman Brothers Band family in 1989 as a lighting rigger and grew to be lighting director through 2014. Earl also worked many Gregg Allman tours as well as continuing his long time employment with BML/Blackbird Theatrical services. Known to many as Pappy, he was always the first to load in and last to load out, willing to lend a hand or his expertise at any given moment. Earl always had a kind word even when he was being irascible. Earl was a Vietnam Veteran and a survivor of the Rock & Roll wars. He lost his battle with cancer in February of 2019.
