Release the Warehouse Shows....Please

There are some fantastic performances from The New Orleans Warehouse, they deserve to be released. Not my Cross to Bear and Revival among other rarely played songs with Duane. The 9/16/71 show is great.

Is that website still up chronicling the performances and the history of the Warehouse shows? I remember John Dubois story of how he recorded one of the while still in high school I think.
Edit - this is a cool website, it's been a while!
a warehouse box set sounds wonderful!

they sadly won't do this. ive spoke with someone in management about it. apparently 9/16/71 isnt good enough sound quality to be released.

That is a shame, the blackstrat.net link above has the source tape.

Andy, how about an early show with Duane singing the Albert king song Oh Pretty Woman? Fans need to hear that.

Duane didn't sing on "Oh Pretty Woman" ... it was Berry!
And there is a good recording of it at Swarthmore College on 5/2/70

Yes, & on Love Valley too (7/17)
UCal-Riverside also? not as sure about that one
surprised they felt the 9/16 source material was inadequate - in Capt Skipper’s hands this show’s stock rose a lot
Jack sang Dimples in later years - wasn’t there an OPWoman by the later band
but yeah Duane sang Dimples, then a couple at another show Gregg missed (Reese W sat in)
hardly any ABB show benefited more from modern-day remastering technology than 9/16/71

Listening to 9/16 now. Wow.
