Gregg Allman to Be Honored at University of Georgia Football Game

This Saturday, the University of Georgia football team will honor the late Gregg Allman during the halftime of their game against South Carolina at Sanford Stadium in Athens, GA.

The tribute will tout Allman’s contributions to both music and to the University’s Hugh Hodgson School of Music, which worked with Allman to establish The Gregg Allman Scholarship Fund in 2015. Recipients of the scholarship will be recognized during halftime, and the UGA marching band will perform three Allman Brothers Songs.

The game will begin Saturday afternoon at 3:30pm ET and will be broadcast nationally on CBS.
