This administration is simply out of 1940....

The inauguration song should have been the theme song to All in the family

Boy the way Glen Miller played
Songs that made the hit parade
Guys like us we had it made
Those were the days

And you knew who you were then
Girls were girls and men were men
Mister we can use a man
Like Herbert Hoover again

Didn't need no welfare state
Everybody pulled his weight
Gee our old Lasalle ran great
Those were the days

I doubt we get to stand next to Cait since we're not celebrities & don't travel that circuit. On the other hand, maybe the celebrity President will have a chance to stand next to Cait at the urinal.

Isn't Cait a Republican? Ironic.

It's real simple. 3 Bathrooms.

1 - Ladies

2- Men

3- Other or Unisex or Universal - all welcome.

That way nobody has to feel discriminated against. The transgenders, confused people have their own bathroom where they can sit and think and figure it out. Meanwhile the women and girls who don't want penises in their bathroom don't have to worry about it, nor do Men, boys who just want to protect their manhood. Everybody gets what they want, feels safe and protected.

If they want to enforce this everybody in all the bathrooms, I'll start using the woods. I'm done with this crap being forced upon Americans.

The only problem is the cost of construction for a third set; even a single stall bathroom for those upset.

I see this as an insoluble solution. Personally I don't really care who comes into the mens room. But I understand the desire of the transgenders to use the restroom they identify with. I also understand the upset that this causes to people who don't embrace the concept. And there rights are equal. If this is all about embracing diversity then all diverse thoughts are entitled to the same protection.

Short of trillions being spent on new bathroom construction this problem is not going away.

And on a personal note I had my first LGBT bathroom experience in NYC. Lowe's on W69 has single Mens single Womens configuration. While waiting to use the Mens room I stood there for ten minutes while a lot of grunting and flushing was going on. I decided I identified with the femal (presumably less toxic) stall. And btw a staff member knocked to ask me what I was doing in there

I have seen some stores here just putting signs with both symbols on the available bathrooms. Their concept seems to be first come first serve, but those have been for one seaters. I would not feel comfortable with men in a multi seat women's bathroom.

And you have a right to be uncomfortable with that. That is why the issue is so complex
