Would Trump have won if he was black?
This puzzler just occurred to me. All else being exactly the same, would Trump have won if he was black? Would you have voted for him?
For the sake of argument let's leave aside the fact that red hair is a recessive negroid gene.
Yes definitely.
Some will say that no he wouldn't because the racists wouldn't have voted for him. I'm not sure how many of these card carrying racists actually came out and made a difference in the election.
A black Republican would still have overwhelming lost the black demographic to Clinton because of the perception of what party is better for them to support. Black Republican candidates before haven't garnered much support in the black community compared to white Democrat candidates and that wouldn't have changed.
So I still say yes he would have. If somebody believes the election was largely decided on racial grounds of Trump getting anti-black votes they would say no I suppose. I don't think the election hinged on that. I hinged on several other things, I personally do not feel that race was one of them.
I think Trump is the 1st true redhead since Thomas jefferson.
Republicans are not really racists if the person agrees with them philosophy.

If the candidates had been a black man, Trump or not, Hillary and a white man, the black man would have prevailed among the black, Latino youth. They vote for color. If Trump had been black would I voted for him? Yes. My issues are borders, state sovereignty for all nations, the end of nation-building, drone assassinations. When Hillary was competing with Obama for the Nomination for presidential candidates long ago, she said she would not tell other nations about drone strikes we would launch until the drones were in the air, I thought that was bad foreign policy, and I still think it is bad policy. Obama continued that policy. I do not believe we have any right to violate the airspace of any other nation and fire missiles at any of their citizens, or even people visiting their countries for any reason. Let them handle their own affairs, that's what respecting state sovereignty means, each state and their rulers run things in their own lands.
