Interesting article showing how the very notion of "ethnic purity" and the White Supremacist obsessive focus on genetic science is challenging their fantasy of "White Supremacy," as well as any claims to "racial cleanliness" by anyone, of whatever color or "race". When hard findings on DNA are brought into play, the idea of "race" is diluted into a pointless myth.
They are hoisted by their own petard.
Toward end of piece, there is a bit on "Toxic Shame", the idea that "supremacy" is a psychology of negative self-image, from childhood trauma.

My right wing wack-a-do nephew did a DNA test and it came back with some African and he was devastated...How he thought that wouldn't be, considering my grandfather said we had blacks in our family back in Sicily, is beyond my amazement.
My cousin just last night said he did a DNA test and it came back 2% South African. Plus his Sicilian, Tuscany and on his fathers side Mexican.
So I know I have at least 2% since I'm Sicilian and I have no desire to even give my DNA to anyone. I can track back 200 years to 2 or 3 cities in Sicily...who cares what came before that
I have definitely noticed that the louder they holler White Power the more insecure they are in general. Same with Black Power. Empty heads do the devil's thinking.
I wonder what percentage of white supremacists have a college degree? I'm thinking most likely less than 1%.
DNA testing wouldn't bother me. Like most of us I consider my ethnic/national lineage to be what we used to call the mutts hanging around the farm.
When we were asked what breed a dog was we just said "He's just a Heinz 57."
I know of Scott, Welsh, German, Irish, English, French, First Nation, and there is probably a little black in there.
Dad's family is traced back to the early 1300s in English records, and I've found some references to the family as far back as 440 ad in Welsh records (Owain Danwyn). One reported ancestor is Owen Van Glynn
Written archival records of Moms' family go back to 1500 when the parish records were gathered for the Scottish national archives. Family Bible records go a lot further back.
