Ted Cruz and John Kasich to Coordinate Against Donald Trump
by MATT FLEGENHEIMER and JONATHAN MARTIN - APRIL 25, 2016

Senator Ted Cruz and Gov. John R. Kasich of Ohio have agreed to coordinate in future primary contests in a last-ditch effort to deny Donald J. Trump the Republican presidential nomination, with each candidate standing aside in certain states amid growing concerns that Mr. Trump cannot otherwise be stopped.

In a statement late Sunday night, Mr. Cruz’s campaign manager, Jeff Roe, said that the campaign would “focus its time and resources in Indiana and in turn clear the path for Governor Kasich to compete in Oregon and New Mexico.”

Minutes after Mr. Roe’s statement, the Kasich campaign put out a similar message. The Ohio governor’s chief strategist, John Weaver, said that his campaign would shift its resources to states in the West and “give the Cruz campaign a clear path in Indiana.”

Both campaigns said they expected allies and third-party groups to follow their lead, and a representative from the “super PAC” supporting Mr. Kasich confirmed late Sunday that it would not advertise in Indiana.

Took them a while to finally get to this point, but its too late to stop Trump with this pseudo strategy. They must be getting funding from somewhere to continue to stay in these races, so even 1-38 K-suck keeps pretending he has a shot.

Well, that didn't last long...

Ted Cruz-John Kasich Alliance Against Donald Trump Quickly Weakens
By ALEXANDER BURNS, MATT FLEGENHEIMER and JONATHAN MARTIN - APRIL 25, 2016

The temporary alliance between Senator Ted Cruz and Gov. John Kasich of Ohio, formed to deny Donald J. Trump the Republican presidential nomination, was already in danger of fraying to the point of irrelevance on Monday, only hours after it was announced to great fanfare.

The agreement, in which the two candidates agreed to cede forthcoming states to one another — Mr. Kasich would, most crucially, stand down in Indiana’s primary on May 3 to give Mr. Cruz a better chance to defeat Mr. Trump there, while Mr. Cruz would leave Oregon and New Mexico to Mr. Kasich — carried the stench of desperation, but initially it seemed like a breakthrough.

Mr. Cruz trumpeted what he called the “big news” in Indiana, a state that appears pivotal to stopping Mr. Trump from winning a majority of delegates. “John Kasich has decided to pull out of Indiana to give us a head-to-head contest with Donald Trump,” the Texas senator said.

But at his own campaign stop in Philadelphia on Monday, Mr. Kasich tamped down Mr. Cruz’s triumphalism. Voters in Indiana, Mr. Kasich said, “ought to vote for me,” even if he would not be campaigning publicly there. He added, “I don’t see this as any big deal.”

And while Mr. Kasich’s campaign canceled his public appearances in the state, the governor was still slated to visit Indianapolis on Tuesday for a fund-raising event at the Columbia Club. And he still had meetings scheduled with a series of Indiana Republicans, including Gov. Mike Pence, according to a leading Republican in the state.

They're both almost out of money.

Too little too late.

Trump continues to get the votes of the American People and doesn't take money from Wall Street or lobbyists.
Trump is winning because he is talking about the issues the people want discussed and is running an honest campaign. Kasich is the only other candidate talking about the important issues but hasn't a chance to win... anything.

While the left had fun with this one it didn't last a day:

"Ohio Gov. John Kasich appeared Monday to undercut his campaign's extraordinary agreement with Republican presidential rival Sen. Ted Cruz to stand aside in the key state of Indiana by urging voters in the Hoosier State to support him anyway.

"I've never told them not to vote for me," Kasich said while campaigning in Pennsylvania. "They ought to vote for me." He added that he simply agreed not to spend "resources" in Indiana.

Adding to the mixed messaging was the fact that Kasich planned to travel to Indianapolis Tuesday for a private fundraising event, despite canceling two planned public rallies in Indianapolis and Noblesville."

Trump will surge even further today!

It didn't last a day because those guys are two clowns in a Republican Party made up of clowns, knaves, and fools.

You think the left isn't laughing even more that those two dunces can't even come to a working agreement?

How will the Republican Party succeed in governing the country? The evidence is clear. The Republicans took the Senate, they own the House, and they can't even fix a pot hole.

A thunderously dysfunctional Party.

Hillary is coming Muleman. She's singing "Big Ten Inch Record" and coming right after you Son. Deal with it.

Yes, The American People threw pelosi and reid and many other democrats out of office and have begun the arduous task of repairing the damage done to our country by the left and their failed president.

All the democrats have are a corrupt and habitual liar and a socialist/commie wannabe who pushes free everything for everybody that cannot be paid for.

You were all in for Bernie Sanders. What happened, got tired of backing someone who cannot win?
Hillary is not coming, she is going.
While she want to move back into 1600 Penn. Ave. she will be provided another form of public housing: prison.

When they think alike they're a monolithic party run by Rush Limbaugh or controlled by the Tea Party. When there is diversity of thought they are dysfunctional clowns. Some folks are awful hard to please.

They all think more or less alike in terms of ideology (except for Trump), the problem is that other than hating Obama they can't agree on specific actions, or can't decide on priorities, or just don't like each other, or something else keeps them from agreeing on how to move the party and the country forward...whatever the reason they are clearly a dysfunctional mess (but don't worry, the Dems aren't much better off).

True about the Dem's. One thing the Republicans have going for them is their inclusive attitude towards a-holes. A lot of groups don't like us.

And the liberals will all line up and vote only for the corrupt and habitual liar Hillary Clinton because that is the only choice you are allowed.
But liberals, unable to think for themselves just do what they are told.

Wrong again. Sanders has received almost 8 million votes (43%) during the primaries going into today, and has won the popular vote in 13 states (including 5 of the last 7).

Bingo! They have to in order to succeed. It's not that they are pathological (though some are) but the system forces them to over-promise and misrepresent in order to have a chance at being elected. This is our system. Don't blame the candidates.

Hillary is coming for you Muleslime. Grab your ankles and grit your teeth boy. Squeal like a pig. This might hurt a little.

Remember the debate where Cruz and Rubio made the gestures right onstage behind Trump's back that they were an alliance? So why should we be surprised if the new sidekick is Kasich, who could not win the election if he were nominated and ran against Hillary. This whole election is starting to look like a psy-op.

For what it's worth, the polls have Kasich as the only Republican that leads HC, and that includes your beloved trash talking & factually challenged Donald Trump being defeated.

Of course in the end national polls don't matter, as the winner is determined by the the electoral college.

I would think Kasich would do well with people who just don't want a criminal, an a-hole, or a nutcase in the White House. Bernie would do well with those folks, too, except the socialist thing scares them.
