Revisiting Sam Brownback's Tax-Cut Disaster
The best place for your money continues to be in your pocket.
The primary problem with Republican led tax cut programs is most often their ambition growth projections and their additional spending measures. Cut taxes and cut spending and depending on the rate of growth happens you will get a surplus. But they continually over extend themselves all while blaming Democrats as the big spenders.
I am not familiar with this Kansas tax situation. In reading up this morning, most sources blame the cuts. Others point to increased revenue that was outpaced by additional spending.
Republicans like to have their cake and eat it too, they like to promote tax cuts, but they fall short on the fiscal restraint that they should always display whether cutting taxes or not.
