Called it from the start of the season. I knew they were the team designed to beat GSW. 3 - point game plus big and strong inside. But it is the defense that really works. They beat GSW at home earlier this year and then 3 times in the series. No fluke there.
As for the fans Rob, some idiots, some caught up in emotion. But the TV cut. The cheer for KD as he exited was far louder than any boos were.
Personally at 75 to 1 odds, I was not heart broken but of course no cheer. Klay - gets carried off and then jogs out to take two shots? Let's just say that NBA and NHL players are not built the same. I love him and great shooter but this is Game 6 of the Finals. Again at 75 to 1, I didn't mind.

Sensitive today? LOL - I have quotes here, there any everywhere, Rob. Most important was my winning ticket from before the season began. Rob - I am a Raptors fan who has said they would win for three years now. Guess somehow it didn't bug you when I was wrong.
Stephen and I have had our whole East debate going for well over the season and into last year. The East was the real challenge this season and will be again next season for the Raptors.
The player that stood in their way was LeBron as Toronto always chokes against him. When he moved, the weight was gone. Then the Kawhi/Gasol trades took them up a notch.
Did I think Toronto was a favourite in the series against GSW? No one would be. The team that I hoped and believed was built to match and beat - GWS. None of Toronto's shooters match Curry or Thompson but collectively they match up. Then Toronto's big guys are to many and too strong especially with KD down.
This year was an obvious off year for GSW as home court was not even theirs. As I said, they had a hard time against Toronto all year.
Then they got outplayed.
For future reference, I always pick the Raptors. Win or lose.
