Liberal Angst and Russia Whodunnit Discussion
Have at it. I'll start a new thread to discuss the inauguration highlights.

More likely you will hear "Lock him up".
More likely you will hear "Lock him up".
Either way we will see some incredibly sad and pathetic behavior in the streets
How great would it be if we hear a "Lock Her Up!" chant before he gets sworn in?
It would not be great at all.

I'm beginning to have some serious concerns about what might happen Friday and this weekend.
No doubt, we don't need anyone getting hurt. Nice to see someone else here who isn't viewing it as a spectator sport and salivating in anticipation of some good ol headbustin Chicago DNC 68 style, just choke em with a boot on their neck and drag em off to RFK, right?
The "sad" part about this is there is no doubt that some idiots will be arrested and others injured.....The Police will just be doing their jobs.

And possibly from the podium unless he remains 100% on script. Behavior seems to be in continuation mode.

What is meant by "RFK"?
That misguided rabble at Bunker Hill were idiots and the Redcoats were just doing their jobs. History will tell if those resisting the ascent of Trump are fools or patriots.
Uh, no...we don't need to wait for history to tell...please don't disgrace those true patriots by comparing them to a bunch of socialist thugs, whimpering liberals and professional rioters who want to prevent an elected US president from taking office.
Whimpering liberals? Trump is the one taking offense to SNL and some award show. Since you don't seem to mind that, you are part of the problem - blaming and hating an entire group. Conservatives aren't the problem, liberals aren't the problem - those who can't communicate without pointing the finger are the problem. We're all guilty of it. It's about recognizing it when we do it.

People can yell whatever they want. Get physical or prevent an event from continuing in an unlawfully disruptive way, well, whatever happens, happens.
These people want a reaction...they think it justifies/validates their "we're being oppressed" delusions and then they will play the "victims of police brutality" card so fast it will make your head spin...
BoytonBrother - just so we're clear....by "these people" I am referring to those who would break the law or initiate violence. So don't get your panties in a wad. I don't hate or point the finger at entire groups of people. And I don't recall ever defending Trump. Don't put words in my mouth or assume that you know what I "don't seem to mind". Both conservatives and liberals are part of the problem.
If you are going to protest:
With talk about Motorcycle guys showing up are we heading for Another Altamont? Does Mick show up and sing "Sympathy for The Devil"? All I can say is this may be the first time in history that the far left starts the fisticuffs (or worse.)
Redfish, you said "whimpering liberals" - that's an entire group. Anyway, there is nothing at all wrong with conservative or liberal values. Each one wants the same thing but have different means in getting there. Why would the root of a problem lie within America's political parties? It's about compromise, and when we point the finger instead of reason with one another, destruction ensues. Those who don't have these communication skills exist on each side, and therefore they are the problem, but not because of their beliefs.
How great would it be if we hear a "Lock Her Up!" chant before he gets sworn in?
You really need to get over her. The election is over. Move on.
Yes the election is over, get over Hillary and just move to the phase of denying Trump is actually the President.

While I don't completely agree with Lewis, Trump responded not by refuting his claims, but by denigrating Lewis's entire district.
On Friday at the Inauguration even what Marc Lamont Hill calls "Mediocre Negros" will be there.
Apparently now the uppity elitist blacks are to denigrate their own people if they don't fall in line the the liberal hate agenda.
And they wonder why they can't win an election.

It's only an entire group, if all liberals are "whimpering" liberals...right? And I don't actually even hate the whimpering ones. I was just taking issue with them being compared to the brave men and women who fought for this country's independence. How you leapt from what I said to your conclusions is beyond me. And I could not disagree more with your statements that conservatives and liberals want the same thing, or that political parties or people's beliefs are not at the root of the problem. It is a clash of entirely different and mutually exclusive world views in some cases, and at the very least a clash of entirely different political philosophies or views on the role of government. It's not a casual disagreement over what to have for dinner. When we reason with one another - and use the art of persuasion or communication skills - we are trying to change the other person's beliefs about a particular issue and get them to see things our way. So the other person's beliefs are at the very heart of the issue/problem.

I just picked up on what was said here, I suppose that protestors or worse who need to be detained Friday and over the weekend could be taken to the old Washington Redskins stadium for temporary holding? Again, I really don't know if that is part of the law enforcement plan, somebody here implied as much.

Yeah, that was all I could figure on my own, but haven't seen any other reference to it.
hello everyone. i was hoping to meet a nice man that hates Obama as much as me. oh look. i see 2 candidates here in this thread. hi original goober. i am a goober to.
I like your post too Muleman. I am a mule woman! want to meet up?
hahahahahahaha!!!!!!! Don't bother, mules can't produce offspring.
btw what's in a name?
Well, a mule is a cross between a horse and an ass. The word ass comes from the Latin "asinus", which also gives us the word "asinine". The Latin word for man is "homo".
So muleman means ass-homo.
So mulewoman, don't hold your breath.

Nice try junior.
I would remind you that the symbol of the Democratic Party is an ass.
Rather appropriate too.

If the insurrectionists have their way it will be much worse than Altamont. I read a report about two weapon caches being found there. 100,000 protesters and one or more people fire live ammo into the crowd, that's one of the potentials.
"The finding of weapons’ cache in two separate locations in the DC area, only a quarter of a mile from each other was so serious and concerning that local traffic on Canal Road was stopped during the investigation. But quickly the cover-up was initiated and the findings were quickly swept under the carpet.
The discovery of weapons was made by a woman who saw a suspicious violin case along a stone wall that runs parallel to a local canal. She stopped and opened the case and found guns. Only a short distance north of the discovery at the canal. Park Police found a cache of multiple weapons and ammunition that had been covered by trash to obscure the presence of the weapons.
The Official Response:
Park Police spokeswoman Sgt. Anna Rose said there were a variety of weapons recovered, including long guns and pistols. The weapons were in buckets and bags, Rose said, although she said she didn’t believe any of them were loaded.” There’s no indication as to why these weapons were here, when they came to be here or the circumstances surrounding it — that part’s all under investigation,” Rose said.
A former 27 year veteran of a major police department said, word for word the following, “If we were only expecting a visit from the President and these incidences took place under our watch, I would have have had a very well-publicized meeting with the Secret Service, DHS and the FBI as well as state law enforcement. Secretly, we would begin operations to ensure the safety of the President. In this environment which is highly charged with a potential for violence, I would recommend a change of venue so as to throw off any potential attack that would have been planned. Additionally, we would keep watch on the local area with a team of undercover officers, although the Feds would take over the process in all likelihood. We would be going through nearby store videos and traffic cams looking for anything that could be connected to the events as described in DC. If the NSA wanted to, I know from experience they could backtrack any satellite footage of the area over the past several weeks with key image search. I know this, because we have done it before. The DIA as well as Clapper could do very similar things. I am awestruck that the officials are so cavalier about these discoveries. This is a complete failure of law enforcement at every level in DC given the highly charged political atmosphere where an event like this should spark, if anything, an over-reaction, not an underwhelming response.”
Remarks: Well you read the Official Response.

Hmm, Interesting. Lets see if we are compatible:
1) Who is more likely to pee standing up ?
Matt Lauer or Rachel Maddow
2) Do you think PizzaGate is real? Y/N
3) Would you go to a Kid Rock or Charlie Daniels or Ted Nugent show?
4) Tucker Carlson or Megan Kelly?
5) Who will pay for the wall?
I would remind you that the symbol of the Democratic Party is an ass
See? You do have something in common with Democrats! How cool is that? This is what it's all about, dialog, dialog, dialog, until we can move forward with our similarities rather than getting bogged down in our differences.

The political party formally known as The Democrats may be looking for a new symbol.
They have no leadership.
They have no power at any level of government.
The hate Wikileaks (the election) but love Wikileaks (Bradley/Chelsea/It Manning)
The far-left of the now discredited party are all pro-socialism.
Maybe go with the Hammer and Sickle?
The confusion on the left is sure entertaining!

We want the same thing? How do you figure?

No. No longer. Those days are over.

This is what kills me about you Trumpettes, you make a statement like this to people not unlike myself and my husband you actually served in the military, and can trace both of our families back in this country pre-revolution. Our ancestors have fought in every war from the revolution to current day as whimpering liberals. While you defend a family who can be traced back at best 2nd generation on his father’s side and first on the mother’s side with no stake or sacrifice in game. Let me explain something to you, we are the patriots and as patriots we are not whining, we intend to fight back and make the tea party look like rank amateures. So get used to it!
You own this 5 deferment coward now, all of him and Putin too.
[Edited on 1/19/2017 by PattyG]
Wow, Amen PattyG, Amen. Preach!!! Post of the year by far.
We want the same thing? How do you figure?
I'm talking big picture. Both want an equal playing field and equal opportunity for everyone. Neither wants poverty, neither wants corruption in our government, neither wants monopolies to exist, both sides root for the middle class to prosper since that's most of America, and both want more personal accountability in our private lives and homes. And of course, strong national security and military to preserve peace and our freedom, and all that b.s.
The problem starts when leaders with opposing strategies ecouinter conflict after they begin trying to achieve what's mentioned in the above paragraph. The ideal way to move forward in that instance is to respect one another and compromise, but since we are still a very flawed society, we divide and conquer. On a bigger scale, I've often wondered if this is a natural part of the evolution of mankind, and that we're still in its infancy, and therefore very flawed.
Thanks…these “Pinko Trump, Putin loving Commies” have the gall to call themselves patriots. It is laughable!
