I was going to create my own thread with this title.I gotta say, I feel Trump's inflammatory statement here, which I feel has serious racist overtones, is justification for his immediate (as meaning today) removal if this man from his position which is supposed to be the most important and prestigious position in the world, but which has descended into crime ridden and criminal infested leadership and administration. If anyone has question pertaining to what crimes I speak of petaining to our President, I would offer the top of my head, fraud, money laundering, known and intentional collusion with organized crime syndicate, conspiracy to commit treason with a hostile foreign government, etc, etc, etc........Peace.........joe

US citizens who commit crimes abroad should do their time, or rely on their US family snd friends connects to buy them out. Although it was kind of Trump to intercede, it made us appear weak to ask for lenience from China on such a trivial matter. Why were these kids granted special favor over all the Americans who screw up in foreign countries? Because they are famous? What about Joe Blow rotting in Singapore for spitting on the sidewalk?
Trump should have just stayed out of it - it was a PR ploy, he would look a lot stronger if he just ignored small stuff like this, and in this case did not respond to Ball. The US shouldn't go around begging for coddling of every idiot who breaks the law overseas.
Would it have been difficult for Mr. Ball to have just said, "Thanks"?
