Hillary Clinton's evisceration of Donald Trump

i guess trump is responding right now.....and none of the news organizations are showing it live, like they did earlier in the year. interesting..

even Hannity wouldn't give up his time slot to Trump and he complained about a san diego radio station bumping him today for her speech.....KOGO.......interesting..
ok CNN just did now
LOL they gave up after 30 seconds.....he was babbling about some employee eating too much candy
from the short parts i heard of trumps speech....i found it funny how much yelling he was doing after so many complained about sec. clintons vocal style
How many people worked on her prepared remarks? She has not held a press conference and taken an off the cuff question in over 6 months. She has not allowed a reporter near her who has not been provided with a list of preprepared Q&A. If this speech makes you guys feel good, like she is hitting her stride and campaigning well, so be it.
How many people worked on her prepared remarks?
Not sure if you know this or not, but presidents rarely (if ever) write their own speeches.
I was hoping she'd "get real" instead of that phony smile and rhetoric we've been hearing. I want to see the real angry bitter Hillary. I want to hear her go off about how angry she was about Bill's cheating, and how angry she was that she didn't get the nomination last time. I want to hear her take the election. It's a good start, but she still has a long way to go inspire the left the same way that Trump is inspiring the right.
And lest anyone think the right truly supports Donald, oh no. They don't support anything he says, but they will vote him in anyways. Why? Because they would rather piss off liberals than put in the best leader. In the end we all lose so they can get payback for 8 years of Obama.

I am not a big fan of her but in that speech she did a masterful job of indicting Tump for who he is and what he stands for using his very own quoted words giving him zero ammo to fight back with. She cornered him in a way that nobody else has so far not allowing him to divert and deny by bombarding him with his own stupid quotes one after another after another leaving him in HUMINA, HUMINA, HUMINA Jackie Gleason mode. All he had to fire back with was more personal insults and name calling. So mature and presidential. LOL!
Great thing about modern technology is that once someone says something now it is recorded forever for everyone to see and the amount of moronic things this guy has said over the last year has to be some kind of Guiness World Record for most dumb things said by a single person in one year ever. He has the self control of an immature 5th grade elementary school child. I am waiting for him to break out the old, "I know you are but what am I" phrase in one of his tweets. That is his maturity level.
He needs to look at her record and what has happened in south central asia (Pakistan, Afghanistan) and the Middle East (Syria and Iraq) and the drone strikes that she had knowledge of etc. where innumerable civilians have been killed in the quest to kill "high value targets" in these places. He needs to dissect our foreign policy which has been where the Prez decides (upon advice of course) who "high value targets" are then authorizes (by authority he granted himself thru Executive Orders) the legal right to launch missiles in other countries against these people, with Hillary etc. letting the other countries know about the strikes while the missiles are in the air or AFTER the attacks have happened.
He needs to question IF any other countries have any state sovereignty and sovereign borders and why ANY other country including the US has the right to violate that anytime we/they please and launch attacks on people in that country. Because this is the foreign policy we have had with the current administration, and one that she supports, endorses and would use IF/WHEN she becomes President. She said this in 2008, before we started launching strikes in Pakistan and she was asked if she would launch drone strikes there to take out Al Qaida leaders and she said 'yes and that she would let the other country know that we were launching strikes WHEN the missiles were in the air'. THAT IS WHAT HER FOREIGN POLICY WILL BE. LAUNCH ATTACKS AND LET THE OTHER COUNTRY KNOW AFTER WE HAVE LAUNCHED THEM.
Yet she criticizes him saying he MIGHT act and launch attacks. She DEFINITELY WOULD, he MIGHT. Big Difference.
Whose policy is more likely to lead us into war, someone who MIGHT launch a strike, or someone who WILL launch a strike and tell the other country later?
We would be safer with Trump.
We will be safer with someone that the rest of the world hates? Someone who will piss off everyone, even our allies? I don't think so.............

Bet you feel safe with him because of all his tweets & nicknames he hands out. What a guy..."that I can tell you".
He's taken the GOP primary & a presidential general election to an all time low with his ego, bigotry, hollow rhetoric, and misogyny. His knowledge of foreign affairs is truly lacking.
When he takes down the GOP in down ballot elections, the party will be doing a second autopsy just like after 2012. I'd hate to be in Reince Priebus' leadership role to explain another loss.

Ain't gonna happen. Hillary is far too scripted and boring, and sounding like a machine doesn't help. The more time she spends in front of cameras and microphones the worse off she is. Does she even have a campaign message? What is it?

You need to pat attention. Watch the news. Her message is out there.

Trump is an amateur compared to Hillary. He has no idea what he is in for.

Republican foreign policy veterans rebuke Trump worldview
More than 90 Republican foreign policy veterans have pledged to oppose Donald Trump, saying his proposals would undermine U.S. security, in the latest sign of fissures between the Republican presidential front-runner and the party establishment.
"Mr. Trump’s own statements lead us to conclude that as president, he would use the authority of his office to act in ways that make America less safe, and which would diminish our standing in the world," the signatories wrote in a open letter on Wednesday.

Actually, it makes it obvious that I have.

"Furthermore, his expansive view of how presidential power should be wielded against his detractors poses a distinct threat to civil liberty in the United States," said the letter, which was posted on a blog called War on the Rocks.
Would like some specific examples of what policies they object to. "diminish our standing in the world?" What counties exactly like us and think what we are doing foreign policy wise is good? (Besides Saudi, who has that oil for petrodollar/trade deal and use the US arsenal to protect us from anyone who wants to take us over point of view.) [vested interests]
What countries admire us and want to be like us?
I would certainly vote for Hillary over Trump, but I'd have to agree with alloak on this one. However, I admit that I haven't been listening closely. But from what I've heard so far, she seems to be hitting all the right liberal talking points, and accurately criticizes the right, but I need more than just that. It's not enough. Although I agree with her criticisms of the right, it's not exactly taking a new position.

Trump has given Hilary the best campaign message she could ask for. "KEEP THAT BAT SH_T CRAZY MANIAC TRUMP OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE".

As it stands today I'll probably vote for Trump, but that could change. Either candidate will be a step up from what we have now. I'd like to hear something from Hillary besides how terrible Trump is. It worked against Romney in the last election, but it may take a little more this time. She's done a horrific job at selling herself and she's running out of chances.

Please tell us who you would consider if not Trump. I doubt there's anyone on this site that believes you would ever consider Hillary. That's laughable. We've all read enough of your posts to dismiss that. You must be considering Gary Johnson, a write in, or not voting if you don't vote for Donnie.
HC has been running on a lot more than just quoting the bigoted and ridiculous lines that Donald has stated. These are the same lines deplored by leaders of the GOP. You need to listen to her speeches as opposed to dismissing without knowledge. She's reasonably good at mixing in policy and ridiculing the bloviating target that is now the leader of the GOP. That's the way speeches work - a time & place for both.
alloak, i think you will hear more. since the beginning i have believed that this was just a sell the Trump brand campaign. i have thought he has tryed to destroy his own opportunity to win. i think he is still trying.
i shake my head as i type this but i do not think he wants the job. and if you can find it i posted about his father having Alzheimers around his age. i know that sounds evil to say.....but man.....i'm just......he doesn't seem right. he flips and he flops.....i'm not sure where his head is at....and i'm not sure he does either....or those working for him. the few that are, he has no real team, that can build a future. just my opinion, for what its worth.

Vote for me because my opponent sucks hasn't worked very well in the past several presidential elections. But who knows. Bush's main attack on Kerry as a flip flopper worked, yet Trump is the biggest flip flopper in the history of flip floppers. I'm just not sure if Trump supporters care or if they are not bright enough to notice.

It worked pretty well in the last one.

But wait, I thought Obama was the worst president in history, which means if "it worked pretty well in the last one" were true then we'd have President Romney running for re-election right now.

Obama won. "Vote for me because my opponent sucks" worked pretty well for him.
Guess it didn't work so well for Romney and Karl Rove..... lol
My opinion is anyone with a lick of common sense or intelligence could never vote for trump. He's a spoiled ass brat that needs to be spanked in public!
