You cannot claim attorney-client privilege concerning an agreement (with Stormy Daniels) of which you have no knowledge. If you do not consent to what your lawyer is doing, he is just some guy signing papers.

Trump cannot have it both ways.

60 minutes had a copy of a Federal Express paper that shows something was sent to Mr. Cohen at the Trump Organization, in light of the disclosure agreement, and Mr. Cohen allegedly using a shell corporation in Delaware and transferring funds to Ms. Cohen's attorney, it would be hard to say there was no connection to Trump. Would he have done all of this on his own?

Good job! You are finally realizing that Trump is a liar and a scumbag. Maybe there is hope for you afterall.

It appears like they are also investigating whether Cohen or someone else in the Trump Organization paid the National Enquirer to kill a story about Trump having an illegitimate child with an employee. The NE paid a doorman $30,000 for the tip with a $1 million penalty if he disclosed the tip to anybody else. The NE doesn't usually pay for tips in that way. They usually only pay for tips upon publication, and that was the original agreement with the doorman. Former NE employees said they would never write a contract like that, pay that much money, and then kill the story. Definitely something fishy there.

There is a bunch of tidbits coming out now and none of it looks good for Trump or Mr. Cohen.

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/criminal-investigation-into-trump-lawyer%e2%80%99s-business-dealings-began-months-ago/ar-AAvQxww?li=BBnb7Kz

If they find material that does not involve legal advice between a lawyer and a client, or is exempted from the attorney-client privilege because it contains evidence of a crime, that material can be turned over to investigators.

"Cohen is being investigated for possible bank fraud, wire fraud and violations of campaign laws, according to people familiar with the matter."

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/rnc-official-who-agreed-to-pay-playboy-model-dollar16-million-resigns/ar-AAvRbNR?li=BBnbfcL

A major donor with close ties to the White House resigned on Friday as deputy finance chairman of the Republican National Committee after the revelation that he had agreed to pay $1.6 million to a former Playboy model who became pregnant during an affair.
The deal was arranged by President Trump’s personal lawyer and fixer, Michael D. Cohen.
Under the terms of the deal, the Republican donor, Elliott Broidy, would pay the woman in installments over the course of two years, and in return, she would agree to stay silent about their relationship, two people with knowledge of the arrangement told The New York Times. The deal was first reported by The Wall Street Journal. The lawyer for the woman, Keith M. Davidson, also represented two women who were paid during the presidential campaign for their silence about alleged affairs with Mr. Trump — a former Playboy model, Karen McDougal, who sold the rights to her story to American Media Inc., and Stephanie Clifford, the pornographic actress known as Stormy Daniels, who received a payment of $130,000 that Mr. Cohen said came out of his own pocket.

In fact, the contract used in Mr. Broidy’s case included the same aliases that were used in the 2016 contract relating to Mr. Trump and Ms. Clifford — David Dennison and Peggy Peterson — according to a person familiar with it.

Mr. Davidson’s relationship with Mr. Cohen forms part of the basis for a lawsuit brought by Ms. McDougal, who is seeking to get out of her contract with A.M.I., the owner of The National Enquirer, which never ran her story after buying it in August 2016.

In the lawsuit, she contends that Mr. Cohen played a secret role in the negotiations for that deal, which allegedly involved only herself and the tabloid media company. The Times reported earlier this year that Mr. Cohen and Mr. Davidson discussed the deal the day before Ms. McDougal signed the contract.

Mr. Broidy was a major fund-raiser for George W. Bush, but he is particularly connected in Mr. Trump’s orbit.

COMMENT: BUSH? Is this payback because Jeb didn't get the nomination from the Republicans?

"The documents show that Mr. Broidy has worked closely with George Nader, an adviser to the U.A.E. and a witness in the special counsel’s investigation, to help steer Trump administration policy on numerous issues in the Middle East. Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel, is examining Mr. Nader’s possible role in funneling Emirati money to finance Mr. Trump’s political efforts. There is no indication that Mr. Mueller’s team is looking into Mr. Broidy.

In 2009, Mr. Broidy pleaded guilty to charges that he made nearly $1 million worth of illegal gifts to New York State officials in order to win an investment of $250 million from the state’s public pension fund."

REMARKS: This is going to get verrrry ugly. And they will drag Saudi business money into it also? Oh boy. I think Cohen just did his job and they are letting him take the fall. In my opinion, Mr. Cohen should investigate countries that do NOT have extradition treaties with the US, do some due diligence and prepared to relocate if necessary and live free. They are investigating him for bank fraud, wire fraud and violating campaign finance laws. It goes way beyond making a payoff to a porn star.

"Robert Mueller has evidence that Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen traveled to Prague in 2016, refuting Cohen’s claim that he never visited the Czech capital and bolstering the Christopher Steele intelligence dossier that first described the trip, McClatchy reported on Friday."

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/apr/14/robert-mueller-michael-cohen-prague-report-claims

Mr. Cohen denies the report.

"Bad reporting, bad information and bad story by same reporter Peter Stone @McClatchyDC. No matter how many times or ways they write it, I have never been to Prague. I was in LA with my son. Proven!

Mueller, knowing he has nothing on Candidate/President Trump is trying to force President Trump to fire him by pulling off this "raid".

Of course Mueller didn't have the balls to do the work himself. Mueller outsourced it to SDNY.

The work was farmed put to another department so that a taint team could go through the seized materials an eliminate any attorney client priveladged material. That is common practice.

Which was designed to provide cover for Mueller's inability to find and documents, evidence or witness to the left's lie of collusion.

It’s a real shame that there was no precedent or history about how Donald Trump conducted himself in personal or business affairs prior to being elected. Who knew?

All Presidents are thoroughly investigated by the press prior to election.
Obviously the corrupt liberal media failed to find anything.

it is a real shame the losers cannot accept the fact they lost.

Just when does this fictional movie start?

X2

Count the seats Republicans have lost since Trump invaded the WH. In states where he won by double digits, the elections are being flipped - coincidence? Have the voters woken up and realized enough is enough?

As a former staffer at SDNY, I'm surprised great bodily harm has not come to anyone who suggests that SDNY is the lackey for any other government entity. [Mental impairment can be assumed.] Can you really think of a more egotistical obnoxiously proud group than NY lawyers who are smarter, went to better schools, and stand a head taller than their "fly over state" counterparts? It is not an obedient orb.

Boy, that Muleman1994 from the Allman Brothers website is always one step ahead of Mueller. NASA better snag him up before some other country recruits him.

Only a decrepit animal, and the very worst of our country, would bash a decorated war veteran who dedicated his life serving our country. The world would be a better place if a scud missle landed on your trailer.

Which press was allowed to investigate Trump's taxes? I think you mean all presidents prior to Trump were thoroughly investigated. Trump was the first to get away with hiding his skeletons and still get elected.

Pretty good chance Mueller has seen them by now. If not, odds are good that Cohen might have a copy in hiding...or at least in hiding until last week. Bet those tax returns tell one heck of a story.

What makes you think Mueller hasn't found anything? Because he hasn't said anything? That is exactly what is suppose to happen. The fact there are no leaks says his team is quality people who keep their mouth shut.

He knows way more than anyone here and since he's gotten people like Sammy the bull to flip on Gotti and took down Enron....I think he probably has more than you feel comfortable with....

You are hoping he's found nothing...yet 18 people have been indicted and just like most cases, he's collecting as much evidence and statements as possible...He will eventually talk to Mr Trump...most likely under a grand jury situation and since everyone on Trumps team knows he can't tell the truth, they've advised him to avoid it as long as possible...at some point Mueller will subpoena him and then it will be with a grand jury

Mueller was also wise enough to pass on to the SDNY the raid to ensure any investigation will continue if he's there of not....very smart move on his part.

Oh and now Sean Hannity is in the mixer and he will forever be stained like everyone else the Chit Midas comes in touch with

Imagine if it was disclosed that a lawyer associated with Hillary Clinton and under investigation was also a lawyer for Rachel Maddow.

They would be outraged and rightfully so, no pun intended. I would love to hear a Trump supporter's rationale for accepting all of this. I expect to hear, "because Hillary, because Obama". Ok fine....so then, in an attemp to demonstrate why the left is bad for America, and in an attempt to demonstrate why the right is better, the solution is Trump and this tabloid trash? What was the right thinking? If you want to show up your opponent, why choose this? The Trump supporters I know are hanging their heads in shame for the fist time. There's literally nothing left to hang their hat on.

You know there will be more inquiries since Hannity was named a secret client today in court. What did Sean need fixed since Mr. Cohen is being referred to as the fixer.

Even if they find a bunch of stuff on Mr. Cohen and try to make it fit their narrative, he is very handsome, I think it would be difficult to get women to agree to convict him, he's too good looking.

It's terrible to say it, but the guy is really handsome, women do not want to punish good looking men. So they can dig up all the things they want and twist it any way they want, but jury's vote the way they do for different reasons.
