I believe it to be true. Every day Trump's appointee Scott Pruitt is in office he works to set back environmental protections by decades. Trump's attacks on the FBI, all for an attempt at personal gain, have caused a portion of American people to lose confidence in what is an excellent and hard working agency. His tax plan is going to drive up the deficit, which has been decreasing for years, and was an important issue among conservatives not that long ago. Millions are losing health insurance due to his policies. And you could say I have no confidence that this trade war with China is going to help American workers. And our lack of response to the Russian cyber attacks is possibly the biggest threat to American democracy in history. More subtle perhaps, but a greater threat the the USA than a couple planes flying into a building or some Mexicans coming to the US to find a job.

Cohen won't cooperate with Mueller. Not even sure client-attorney confidentiality allows for that. This doesn't seem to be related to the Mueller investigation anyway. It's a completely separate investigation.

So I guess Mueller suggested to Rosenstein that the FBI might want to look into this. Since "Little Donny Traitor Wannabe Dictator" told them to go ask. Rosenstein sent it to the SDNY who then, by the direction of a prosecutor appointed and interview by Trump, ordered the warrant and a judge gave the OK....It isn't Mueller's team investigating this but I think they're betting it'll all tie in at some point

Whatever happens with the Mueller case, I take some satisfaction in the fact that Trump's little fixer may be headed to prison for multiple decades and will certainly never practice law in New York ever again.
As mentioned previous, this raid goes far beyond the Stromy Daniels issue. Rather, it goes directly to Trump's business dealings with not only Russians but other unsavory parties who he's long done business with directly through Cohen.
Trump and Cohen brought this chapter on themselves as they simply don't know when to shut up and gave much of the case to the FBI on a silver platter. The raid on Cohen was instructed by Trump himself when he told the reporters that if anyone wanted info on the NDA or payment they needed to go talk to Cohen...so the FBI took him up on the statement...

I think DT has wanted an out since Day 1 & didn't mind throwing Cohen to the wolves. He doesn't want to follow anyone's rules but his own & chafes that he, for the first time in his life, has restrictions. I fully expected him to throw up his hands after a week & say Screw it & resign. Now, I think prefers impeachment where he can blame everyone else but himself or resign before impeachment & claim he was hounded out of office.

He knew the minute he won he was way over his head.....It was written all over his face and was obvious to anyone who watched the press coverage election night.
I think, however, he realized he could monetize the presidency immediately rather than later (as most presidents do) and so made a calculated decision to ride it out as long as possible and not really give two sh*ts about actual governing. He leaves that up to Pence and Sessions and the others on the Koch brothers money belt.
He's able to play the part as little as necessary as his base is just big and loyal enough that the other Republicans are unable to call him on his disinterest and ignorance all while he cashes in. Frankly, they need his base too and so are tethered to Trump.
In the end he'll just whine and complain it was the dems, deep state, FBI, Barack Obama, Allman Brothers Whipping Post liberals who caused his departure... 😛

So the FBI and Congress never ever investigated Hil's email server clusterf*ck? I could of swore I heard something about just such an investigation, even saw Comey and Hil testify before Congress, read about several Republican led congressional oversight investigations, etc....I really need to get out more as I evidently am hallucinating way too much from lack of sunlight and fresh air.

If you had been paying attention to what is going on, you might realize that this goes beyond more than just Stormy. Several aspects have been presented. It would benefit you to read up on these instead of thinking this is a one issue action. Expand your horizons and look at the big picture. Trump presents a treasure trove of possibilities for prosecutors and investigators to look at, and Stormy is just one inch in a mile.
In the meantime, Trump is paying great dividends for the GOP. The numbers guy who agreed to astronomically increase the deficit announced today he is bailing at the end of the year - just the latest to abandon "the good ship Trump". 😛

You're right. The FBI should really investigate the Trump Administration's use of unsecured email servers. We know that at least 6 Whitehouse officials have used unsecured email servers for government business, and Trump used an unsecured Android phone 6 months into his administration. It seems that the FBI really should investigate this. Since they investigated Hillary on this, and it may have cost her the election, then why are the FBI giving Trump a pass?

I stand corrected; they did the raids in a nice manner per Mr. Cohen, but the way they are gong after him is like Yosemite Sam. They are reportedly not just looking for the money transfers, Mr. Cohen owns some taxi companies and 200 medallions, they are going after those records also, and since he was involved in finance for the Republican National Committee, they are also after those records. What they want to do is try to push the idea of campaign impropriety, misusing funds to sway an election. In the case of Ms. Daniels, they say that his money suppressed her story, and that story would have influenced the election if people had heard it before the election.

60 minutes had a copy of a Federal Express paper that shows something was sent to Mr. Cohen at the Trump Organization, in light of the disclosure agreement, and Mr. Cohen allegedly using a shell corporation in Delaware and transferring funds to Ms. Cohen's attorney, it would be hard to say there was no connection to Trump. Would he have done all of this on his own?
