Beautiful stretch of highway near Clint Eastwood country - fallen into the ocean! I've driven this route several times and it is (was) breathtaking.

Oh no!!! I love Big Sur. One of my favorite places.
I've told this story before - about 15-20 years ago I was driving on the PCH in Big Sur and said to my wife - this is like the song - driving on a road, one side cliff, another side nuthin'. We turned the radio on and on comes Arlo's Motorcycle Song with the monologue that I stole that line from. I met Arlo at a meet and greet after a show a few years after that and told him the story, he got a chuckle out of it.

Happened a couple of years ago too. I had to take a cutoff to the 101. I think it was route C19. Turned out to be a real kick.
