You're welcome. I haven't seen one of Richard Thompson's electric sets for 20 years, so I'm overdue for a dose.
I saw D.O.A. a few months ago at a favorite, small, local venue. Joey Keithley's face is showing his age (and then some) but he still has the energy and attitude of a much younger man. It was a fun, high-octane, punk rock blast from start to finish!

i am going to the Steve Earle benefit show at Town Hall in early December. featuring tedeschi trucks band and warren. should be fun
Kansas
Alan Parsons ( Live Project )
Fleetwood Mac ( Wife won tickets , was supposed to be last Saturday but was cancelled and rescheduled for April )
Elton John
Tommy Castro & The Painkillers

The Musical Box at the Tarrytown Music Hall. I'm very psyched. They have put together a new show.
I'm hoping that it means that Steve Hackett will tour soon. For whatever reason, it has seemed that for the past decade, any time The Musical Box comes around, a Hackett appearance in the area also occurs.

The budget would be significantly higher if I had been daft enough to purchase 2 Eagles tickets for Janet and myself totalling £210. As it is all the tix for the gigs already lined up apart for TTD are a shade over £240 in total. There is only Derek and Warren who I would pay more than £50 to see nowadays.

How was the show, I saw them for the first time a couple summers ago open up for TTB at Spac, and they blew TTB away.

WOW! WOW! WOW! Thanks to the heads up, sounded by Psy and BrerRabbit, I caught the Richard Thompson show last night at the Thalia Music Hall in the historic Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, beatific neighborhood, fantastic 125 yr old venue and a huge amount of fine talent on stage, the Trio at times was 4 guys when Richard's guitar tech joined in. Like a lot of Folks here, I have seen many of the great guitar players over the years, Thompson is as fine a player as I have heard!!! Seems happy and personable! WOW!!! My concerts have dwindled in recent years, 2018 only 5 shows, but each one really magical for me, Devon and Duane at a small summer Fest in Valparaiso IN. Scott Sharrard Band at the Hargray Theatre in Macon, Dylan at City Auditorium Macon, Dylan at Tivoli Theatre Chatanooga and then last night Richard Thompson so unique and dis-similar to anything I've seen............Peace..........joe

I'm not sure when winter starts and ends, but I have these to start with and whatever quality artists that may find their way into my line of sight, I love me music.....
Felix & The Rascals 1/4, Masters Of The Tele' 1/10, Denny Laine & The Moody Wing Band 1/11, Tommy Emmanuel 1/15, Peter Wolf 1/31, Marc Cohn 2/15, Donavan Frankenreiter 2/16, John Doe 2/18, Ron Pope 2/22, The High Kings 3/1, Anders Osborne 3/15, The Yardbirds 3/18, & Robin Trower 4/6.
