How's the weather down there?

With the scenes of fire in Australia and heavy rain it may be weather related. Dangerous to fly thru any of that.

Fires are mostly out or under control and the air has been clear for a couple of weeks now.

Now the Melbourne show is cancelled.

That is odd. Lack of ticket sales perhaps? I just checked their office website and several shows in Australia are on the schedule. There is one in Japan too.

They have had many sold out shows in the states in recent days and weeks. I'm very surprised they are running a tour that is doing this well. Not huge venues, theaters, but not clubs either. Much bigger crowds and venues than Devon Allman and Duane Betts did before in their various bands except when Duane was in Dawes but this tour is Dawes size. The album is selling steady but is a long way from going gold ( 500,000 copies).
Must be the name Allman Betts Band.

They play the Macon Georgia Opera House tonight. Shows coming up in California, Nevada, Washington State.

Also they sound good. Tight band that can kick it good. And Johnny on slide is very good. He said in a recent interview he came from liking hard rock bands such as AC/DC and is from LA. But for slide he is influenced by Duane Allman, Elmore James and Derek Trucks.
