Acoustic version too.

Heartworn Highways

And another. Apparently Gregg was pretty toasted here. No matter to me. It's still one of, if not my favorite version of this song. I can only imagine the pain & anguish Gregg dealt with after the losses of Duane & Berry. Having buried my only child in 2014, I have some sort of idea.
And I don't fault him at all for it.
Gregg Allman - Come & Go Blues

Something "light" to start the day with... great song but one you might not want to play during the party...

Savoy Brown - Troubled By These Days And Times

@stratdal Great song on a fantastic album. I am a big fan of Savoy Brown and especially all their albums up to and including Boogie Brothers. Those three Dave Walker albums are some of their best.
Amazing how good and consistent their music was over the years despite Kim Simmons changing lineups constantly. Kim lives not too far from me and plays a small tavern, Bull Run, at least once a year and my wife and I are going to see them in August. Simmons can still bring so I am really looking forward to that show.

Thanks Bill! Like the ABB, I was late to the Savoy Brown party. (Turns out I saw them play at a local blues festival but didn't make the connection.)
I first heard "Hell Bound Train" on Mitzi's (poster known as Greggs_Woman) on her Halloween edition of her Facebook radio program. Suffice to say, I was blown away! A few months later, at the local cajun-blues festival, there was a cd booth and I came across the cd. Of course I grabbed it; I'd have paid gold! Gave it a spin this morning during my morning drive. "Hell Bound Train" was played twice to massive volume. It was fun. Cheers!

check out raw sienna and lookin' in. i think it's their best two then there's blue matter....

@stratdal not sure what other albums of theirs you own but if you want more Savoy Brown I recommend looking for the BGO label 2fer CD's as you get two SB albums for the price of one. You can usually find them on eBay at reasonable prices.
Excellent mastering on those BGO releases as well
