Washburn Greg Allman Electric Acoustic Guitar

Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

Devon Allman said Gregg had 42 guitars when he died and he gave all of them to Devon.
Duane Betts has three guitars on stage with Allman Betts Band. A Dickey Betts signature Gold Top Les Paul, a 1961 Gibson ES-335 dot neck hollow body and a 1956 Fender Stratocaster hard tail tobacco burst. The ES-335 and the 1956 Strat were used in the Allman Brothers by Dickey. The Goldtop was played by Dickey in Great Southern in the early 2000's.
So both Devon and Duane are using daddy's guitars. But that is cool. I'm glad these fine guitars are still at work and not sitting in a rack 24 hours a day.
As far as I know, Derek Trucks is still using a custom Brother to Brother SG. A custom shop replica of the 1961 SG Dickey gave to Duane Allman so he wouldn't have to tune his Les Paul to play slide.

$1500 - lol
A Washburn for $1500 better have Gregg returning from the Dead to play it.

I seem to remember Derek Trucks playing a Washburn electric back in the early to mid nineties.
First time I saw the 1988 version of Dickey's band, Warren Haynes was playing a Paul Reed Smith.
First time I saw Duane Allman, he was playing a Sears Silvertone electric with one pickup. Okay I'm lying now:) it was a Goldtop and Dickey was playing a Strat.

I don't care if Derek did cartwheels in front of the Washburn factory.
That guitar is not worth $1500.
