They're coming to Montana, two days more...... New natural type site on a river (Bonner), looks like a great venue. Creator heal my soul, sun warm my bones, and the spirit of the music fill my heart..... need it...... want it..... get it.....

Attended both shows.
After saturday, I thought how could they top that?
second tune: intro jam> Anyday (Sue crushed) > Blue Sky > Anyday.
Great collaborations throughout, JB could have stayed longer.
Closed set with Storm > Whippin Post
Second tune in encore Statesboro w/ Derek taking a second solo after a false ending (like 2009 ABB versions)
Much longer set than usual. Like an Evening With, but without set break.

Heading out to Colorado to visit the In-laws and catch TTB at Red Rocks was on my short list of Summer adventures this year. When push came to shove I opted out because of an incredible concert schedule in the DC area over the next two weeks. A good handful of friends headed out and, from all I've heard and seen on YouTube, those that made the effort were handsomely rewarded.
Sunday night's show was especially good. Songs that I saw performed just a few weeks ago at Wolf Trap were polished and invigorated. There is a mind blowing video of "Pity the Fool" circling on Facebook. I highly recommend seeking it out, perhaps through the TTB fans group. Susan dedicates the song to Buddy Guy (it was his birthday) and proceeds to channel Buddy through stage antics and pure power. She really seems to be liking her Les Paul.
I'm already looking forward to their DC residency in February. I'm considering a trip to the Beacon in October. I've already bought tickets to the April 13th show in Tallahassee.
This band is all up in my grill. I want to catch them as much as possible during what seems to be a peak in their creativity.

And then you have this.
