I saw them this past Saturday night at the Paramount in Peekskill, NY.
I have to say I was not impressed.
Pat DiNizio passed a few years ago, and he was replaced with Robin Wilson from the Gin Blossoms as lead vocalist at this show.
He did a good job but I guess I missed Pats vocal style which affected all of the tunes. Sound was a bit muddy from the venue which contributed to my discomfort.
I like their tunes but this show did not do it for me. Anyone else see them recently or after Pat died and have any comments?

Seen them a lot back in the day. They played most of the same clubs that we did, the scenes outside The Strip. Long Beach, Orange County Pasadena, Inland Empire..

I didn't know they were still doing it after Pat passed. Bummer bout the show. Goes to show that chemistry usually triumphs over talent alone. Ya got it or you don't, can't take chemistry.

Pat had such a distinctive voice that it's hard to imagine them with another singer. Don't fault them for going this route, but I'd pass when it hits ATL, unless I heard great reviews or good new music.
