Damn I LOVE this band! Moe's Alley in Santa Cruz was SHAKING last night for a sold out show, they sold out both Friday and Saturday night. Place only holds maybe 1,500 but at $30 a pop that ain't bad. My only regret is that from where I was you can barely see leader/singer/writer guitarist Dave Wakeling, but you can hear him. Dave has kept this band alive for 40 years now............

Right on Rob! Saw the EB open for The Clash at the Hollywood Paladium in 1982. They were a blast. Fortunately, the band played a second encore. Good times

If you catch the current version of the band I doubt you are going to care much. Besides, as long as Dave Wakeling is on board, this version is very authentic. And they happen to have a bunch of guys who can PLAY. The two keyboard players are outstanding. This band JUMPS. Can't wait to see them again.
