I'm no Phish fan, matter of fact I'm like this guy in that I have never given them the time of day.

That said, his little rant smacks of 'old guy who will never give anything new a chance.'

Though I have a lot of respect for the Dead and Phish, I can't say I'm a big fan of either. But these complaints are so cranky, hollow, and arbitrary that they could just as easily be aimed at a Grateful Dead show (or any jam band) by an ardent non-fan. I never really understand people who get angry about music that someone else truly enjoys.

And maybe try to spell "Colosseum" correctly. Like it or not, MSG is pretty darn famous.

Sam is a bit of a character, this is not surprising. He's funny as hell in the new Grateful Dead movie.
