A 17 minute blast of maximum R&B to start your Hump Day.  Whatever "IT" was, the Stones had IT.........right from the get-go.

Paul McCartney said the Stones were a blues cover band for the most part.

But man did Mick and Keith write some hit songs with fantastic riffs. Keith Richards came up with many of those great guitar riffs.

@robertdee:  "Paul McCartney said the Stones were a blues cover band for the most part."  Maybe that's why I related much more to the Stones than I did The Beatles when I was a kid.  I was 9 years old in 1964.  The Stones just hit home more for me.  Although I later became a big Beatles fan, the Beatles in the early days were somewhat whitewashed compared to the Stones' earthy R&B.  Let me put it to you this way:  Could you ever imagine the Stones having written I Wanna Hold Your Hand?  Nope.  The Stones said Let's Spend The Night Together.
