Record Store Day Black Friday Jason Isbell &The 400 Unit's release to include "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed"

World Class Peach

Isbell is releasing a collection of "Georgia" based songs "Georgia Blue." Was interested to see their rendition of Liz Reed included. I was buying it even before knowing that.

Several other releases that I'll be getting are (from 1970) Memphis Slim, Canned Heat and The Memphis Horns "Memphis Blue" and also Little Feat's live at Ultrasonic Studios from '74.

Anyone else making some RSD purchases?

I use to be a big Canned Heat fan. About 1967 or so is when I saw them and it I liked it a lot. But the two guys doing the lead vocals died of drug overdoses early in the band's existence.

The big guy who play the harmonica and sang the most was given some kind of 8 ball to snort up by a fan and he snorted it and dropped dead right on the stage.
