Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne Leaving the U.S.

I certainly can't blame them. In fact, if I were born and raised in England I would get the f*** out of here, too.

Way to kick the U.S. in the balls as you walk out the door, Ozzy... If I'm not mistaken, life was pretty good to you, Sharon and your kids while you were here.
The UK is not without its problems, either, right now.

@islalala: Three killed in a Safeway store in Portland yesterday, three more in Detroit the same day. It continues almost every week without fail in the U.S. Yes, England I'm sure has it's problems. EVERY country has it's problems. However show me another country where there is a mass shooting nearly every single week. Maybe Ozzy fears he may be gunned down by some Satanic Black Sabbath freak. Can you really blame him?

Bashing the very culture that fueled his reality TV lifestyle just seems hypocritical.
No doubt about our endemic violence and mass shootings. Â It's a massive problem that continues without any real effective solution.
But where he starts off complaining about the craziness, he then goes on to say it's just time to come home because he's English and that's where he wants to die.
Confusing
Write a song about it instead --- I'd be more apt to listen 😉Â

I hear ya Rob, it is kinda disheartening with everything that is going on in this country and world. But I think overall this is still a great place to live. I try and be disconnected from the world at times with all the noise, tv, social media, politics, people complaining, they're self importance. Some times it feels like one big toilet. Whether thats good or bad to be disengaged with what's going on , I am not sure. It makes me wonder at moments if I am living in the end times. Could be, but I am sure folks have said that for years.
There is a website that shows and talks about gun violence. Its kinda sad to see and read these numbers. Over the weekend here in Indy 9 were shot and 3 killed. Chicago 37 shot and 10 killed.Â

One of the fatalities in Indianapolis was a Dutch soldier.
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

Didn't Bille Jo Armstrong say he was leaving the states? I wonder if he has left yet?! 😋 😋Â

When Trump won the White House all the ladies on the View claimed they were leaving the US. Butch Trucks also flipped out when Trump won but his IRS problem is why he chose to end his life.Â
When Obama won Texas was threatening to leave the union and California did when Trump won.Â
Crime, robbery, murders, smash and grab etc is out of hand and so is the southern border. Many young people have no respect for the law or police. A man at a traffic stop here attacked a police officer on the street and took off in the police cruiser but he was stopped and wrecked in another county and they beat him pretty good when taking him into custody. I can understand the police loosing their cool but they can't break the law just because they little scumbag punk they just stopped did.Â
Starbucks, Walgreens etc have left San Francisco because local politicians won't let the police go to a shoplifting call under $100.00.Â
I'm a liberal and often vote for a Democrat but stop the crazy lawless stuff so people like Ozzy won't leave.Â
These young gangbangers need to have a heavy handed response from the police and long prison sentences. I hate to see people around 20 get 20 to 30 in the slammer but you can't be allowed on the street acting up like this.Â
Listen to this fine looking men!Â

Sad commentary on a number of levels. Saddest, and possibly truest part was Sharon's statement (paraphrasing) that the United States is no longer "united" about anything. While there is still no other country that I'd prefer to live in, these words are spot on. Personally, I blame things like party politics, the 24 hour news cycle - promulgated by outlets with agendas (both sides), and the now never-ending presidential race (we used to get at least 2 years off of this stuff). It's gotten to the point where everybody is (or feels like they are) a victim of some sort of personal attack or discrimination. My momma used to remind me that "sometimes the ball bounces your way - sometimes it does not". It seems that we've gotten spoiled somehow into thinking that everything should always go our way - ignoring the fact that there are another 330 million or so other citizens. Â
It's the gun situation that Ozzy is most correct about. We have an undeniable problem with firearm violence that somehow, about half of the population doesn't seem to have a problem with. Any attempt to address this situation is seen as an attack on the "rights" of about half of our citizens. Â

We also have a serious problem with letting violent offenders off with little or no jail time that half the country doesn't seem to care about. Between defunding the police (what genius thought of THAT one?), bail reform and just refusing to prosecute, a lot of these cities are becoming unlivable. What has happened to San Francisco, L.A., Chicago, New York, etc. is shameful. But the reasons these cities have decayed is obvious. And again, half of the citizens of this country support the policies that have lead to the destruction of these cities. I think SOME are waking up though. I hope

Little over a month ago a young 24yr old officer just on the job less than a year , was gunned down by a career criminal with an assault  rifle. Shot multiple times.
