Which ABB song is he crucifying now.

The poor guy bails out the ABB and gets crucified for eternity.
They asked him. Also how many players with less than 24 hours would even accept let alone make it through a show.
He plays heavy and faster than other ABB players, who would have imagined that? Loves the band like all of us and got the opportunity to play an entire show with them. Some on here would kill for that chance including me. Not only that but got to play with Sabbath and Linnie Skinny also which is pretty fu*kin' cool.
The only people who have the right to complain are those that were there if they didn't like it. But don't blame Zakk as the much larger question is why didn't the band postpone or cancel? Money.
They had no one else and asked Zakk as opposed to losing cash. If there is blame then it is on the ABB.
Throw in the fact that Zakk is a real nice guy and a great player. Right for the ABB? No but he wasn't trying to join, he was bailing their asses out.
When I was active in trading, that was in the top 3 requested shows from me.
Put that Bobblehead next to Warren's.
😉

I'll have to say that's a very justifiable defense of Zack.

Excellent CM! And right on the money IMHO. I spent many hours on a tour bus with Z.W. listening to the ABB, so I know how much he loves the band. i also know what a good guy Zakk is and it's unbelievable to me he still gets **** on this site. I mean this is a guy who'd share his last beer...or would have when he still drank beer.

Great picture.
I have seen Zakk in large venues and small ones and he always gives his all. And that boy can play. May not be everyone's style but he is talented and inspires many to play guitar.
Also backstage and partying was always such a good time. Definitely one of the more down to earth people that I have met in rock. Straight forward and honest which I respect and always has some time for fans on every occasion that I have witnessed.
A few foggy memories too. 😉

ZAKK RULES

I would love, love, love to have a copy of the Zakk show. Whoever has one is is a lucky SOB!
Did he quit drinking recently, like within the past 5-6 years?
My favorite image of him from the movie Rock Star was when he drank from 2 bottles of Heineken at the same time walking back from the stage. Those could've been water, of course....

Actually pretty cool as bobble heads go.
Here are some other cool ones....

2009 I think. Had some serious medical issues, and supposedly hasn't drank since.
I met him twice in 85/86 ( he is from NJ like myself) while he was playing in a local band. Pre-Ozzy of course. He was quite the bad ass even then from what I remember 😛

I was there, had a great time I think 😉
Heard about Dickey's problems while bbq'ing in the lot. I don't think there was any time to cancel the show. Story goes that Zakk had an ABB cover band on the side...
My cousin who is quite a bit younger than I am worships Zakk. He plays a pretty mean guitar and ZW is his main influence.
islalala, that show is readily available around here. If you post a request over on "trades" I'm sure somebody will hook you up. I would do it but somewhere along the line I lost one of the discs.

He was great Live with Ozzy. Pretty wild!
Never really pictured him as a southern rocker though.
I wonder how one rates to get their own bobble-head...

Saw Zakk last night in a benefit concert for Tony MacAlpine and he opened with Whipping Post and also did It's Not My Cross To Bear. His backing band was Mike Portnoy on drums, Billy Sheehan on bass and Derek Sherinian on keys. Needless to say his versions rocked hard.
