Any Maconites or other GA folks heading to the Devon, Duane and Oakley concert tonight? I hear there may be a couple special guests.

I'm not far south tonight but have a friend living down there and that is the buzz. A couple of surprised guests are being talked up but no names. Maybe Chuck Leavell and Mick Jagger. Or Jaimoe, Chuck and Keith Richards.

What a Night Macon! Couldn’t think of a better way to start 2019 than having my dad as a special guest on his tune “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed”
Duane Betts

Sorry if the image is too large...

Never even crossed my mind that Dickey was going to be one of the special guests. I didnt know he had healed up so fast from brain surgery. Damn! How great to see him out and looking well. Just cant keep the ole boy down! I bet he brought the house down when he walked onstage. Sure wish I could have been there.

I would have liked to see that show. Glad Dickey's back in the saddle again, right where that cowboy belongs!

If you never heard the song Back In the Saddle Again, it's happy music, about people going their own way with their friends.
