What are your thoughts on whether the boys are going to go for it and deliver 3 sets on 3/10 like they did on 10/28/14?

I have also been thinking that since this is a so-called "tribute" show, whether they will throw in a few more Dickey tunes than they did on 10/28/14.

I'm assuming they are holed-up somewhere working it out this week. Just thinking about it is getting me pumped for 3/10 - it's actually going to happen! This is real life!

It will be the typical songs that are popular. I'm Sure Jessica will be thrown in there. I wish those guys would play my only true friend as a dedication to Gregg.

It may or not be 3 sets but I bet it will be 3 hours of music or more (longer counting intermissions)....longer than a typical ABB show.

I think they will primarily play from the first 5 albums and a few other covers that Warren wants to do that the final ABB lineup played. I'm hoping they don't completely ignore 1990-2003 albums. I hope that Chuck plays on the vast majority.

No word / rumors on extra guests so it may just be these 8 guys only.

I'd love to be in on choosing the setlist!!!

I doubt the set is going to deviate much from the hits but I have a feeling there will be some guests.

I find it curious that Eric Clapton played Stormy Monday last week at a benefit in London.. last time played was with the brothers, might have been a practice run..

I'm going in with No Expectations, No Frustrations on hoping for this song or that song. Whatever they play will be amazing. They're all masters at their craft and it's a bonafide Supergroup now. Dead and Co bassist, Panic Drummer, Stones piano player and musical director since 82, SRV's and now Bonamassa's keyboard player, Doobie Brothers percussionist, Bandleaders Derek and Warren, and founding Drummer. How can it be anything but EPIC!?

However it being a tribute to the whole thing, I hope there's time for some 90's songs like End of the Line, No One to Run With, and Back Where it All Begins, with Dickey walking out and singing some of them...... yeah yeah I know. I'm hung up on Dreams I'll Never See.

While I don't think there will be much time for guests, I'll add to this by saying that John Hammond is playing a sold out show in NYC tomorrow night. Will he stick around and sit in?

Joe....Great attitude. Go with no expectations on what songs to hear/ not hear and you probably leave the most satisfied. I will have one exception to that....need to hear Jessica....which with Chuck is about as close to a lock as anything.

Do you think there is a chance of a new original song that may been started but never finished?

I would assume Warren might bust out Soulshine or Rocking Horse.

No One Left to Run With Anymore would be great, if haunting.

KCJimmy - I love that 6 hour setlist. LOL It would be amazing.

They are starting early as they can't go late. Not enough cash from a single show to warrant all the OT for the local crew.

That said it will be a long night. All I need is the guys with Chuck. Any other guest is bonus but it will happen. This is Warren and it is NYC.

Celebration all around. Hope Jimmy and Jack show up too. Eric would almost be too much.

Imagine a song with Warren/Derek/Jack/Jimmy/Eric - by the time that jam ended. The sun will be coming up and the audience will just walk out silently. When the acid wears off, the people will remember the legendary 9 hour show.

Sounds like the holy grail show at the Fillmore Butch Trucks always said was the best show the ABB did Canadian Mule.

But, if I remember correctly, Butch said the truck was outside but to his disappointment they didnt record it.

Butch talked regularly about the sun blasting in when they finally stopped playing as the smiling audience opened the side exit doors in the theater.

I wasn't in New York for that show. Wish that had been my last Fillmore show.

But did they really play that long? Some remember the ABB starting very late. Then there was a bomb scare which supposedly stopped the show for awhile and that is why the holy grail show lasted to after the sun came up

I saw a few Fillmore East shows back when I was young that was the Allman Brothers Band at its absolute best. Talking about leaving a trail of smoke on the stage!! And after a 25 minute Whipping Post, Butch immediately kicked off a 35 to 40 minute Mountain Jam so Butch and Jaimoe for the most part, played wide open for over an hour!!

Four songs that I am confident will be played
Dreams
Liz Reed
Blue Sky
Jessica (added due to Chuck)

The rest is gravy.

Hearing win lose or draw would be worth the cost of admission for me.
