Big Dickey fan here.I will be attending the show Sunday at great South Bay music festival.Im looking foreword to it.I will post my review either way.I have no doubt it will great.

The Fla. and Macon gigs were rehearsals/shows & advertised as such -- the guys know these songs w/a heartful of love & will be as stoked to play them as us fans will be to hear them -- esp at the sold-out Beacon
You can't be a Dickey Betts fan and not be interested in musical performance -- I take the 'idol worship', to be Gratitude, from appreciative fans -- for music we've loved forever, and for hitting it one more time beginning next week
The plans to film a DVD and the fact more dates have been added would both on the surface seem to be good news. I can't imagine they would make plans to film a DVD unless Dickey was seeing his playing come together quite a bit when practicing/rehearsing over the last few months. There's no way they'd willingly professionally document what the videos of the earlier gigs this year showed - the fact that they are making such plans seems encouraging. Interested to see the videos and read the reviews of the upcoming shows - would love to see Dickey have a really nice run this summer.
