More to come......

A Saturday on Staten Island is perfect.

Come West, Old Man, come West............

July 15 is actually The Great South Bay Music Festival in Patchogue on Long Island. Gov Mule and one of the best ABB Tribute bands around The Allmost Brothers played there last year.

I am planning for July 20 in CT

Niiice.

Jeez of course DIckey hits CT while I'm on vacay! Lol

I wonder if he is going to keep it just to the East coast and South.
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

Dickey is at Peachfest in PA on the Sunday of that weekend, but this sched says he has shows that Fri (CT) and Sat (NY), so he will not be around at the Fest to do sit-ins in its opening days.
I hope Warren, Jaimoe, Devon, and Duane do sit in with HIM in that Sunday set!!

having just relocated to the ATL area... Dickey in Macon in May sounds just fine to me... BWIAB!

I don't know if Dickey or David Spero ever peek in here or not, but in case they do, I just want to say: Thanks for doing this, Dickey. You're making a lot of folks happy

Any news on the venue for the Macon Show? Big House?

...inside sources tell me Macon City Auditiorium with Devon Allman Project featuring Duane opening. Fingers-crossed...apparently I've now reached an age that concert announcements no longer excite; this is the ultimate exception. One more night w/ Brother Dickey...

I hope he comes through on these concert dates. He has a history of canceling out.

Has anyone heard about who will be in Dickey's Band?
Thanks

I'm cautiously waiting for the band members to be announced. I have no idea. I think the promoter who
booked the gig in Macon is taking a leap of faith that these two bands can fill the Macon City Auditorium. I just don't see it.
Dickey said it himself...he was playing bars previously and thought he could fill larger venues, but could not.
*My apologizes. I thought Dickey was booked for the Macon City Colisium

I'd love to see a sellout. If not, then everybody who wants to go will be able to get a ticket. He sold out the Capitol a few years ago. The City Auditorium is the best choice.

betts18 is the presale password if anyone is so inclined.

The "more to come" dates are the ones I have to hope for, Midwest? Chicago???................Peace...........joe

Yeah I'd love to see a Chicago date Joe. As you know there are plenty of clubs & small theaters in town.
Everything in Moderation. Including Moderation.

Lee, how about Dickey's Band, Jaimoe's Jasssz Band and Devon w/Duane at the Cadillac Palace, right downtown right around 2,500 seats???.............Peace..........joe

Heck I would take anything in the city although I love that lineup.
Kind of doubt adding the other two would add to the drawing power to book them. I would think someplace like S.P.A.C.E. in Evanston would be more likely but I sure hope not. He could also probably fill a place like Joe's. Lincoln Hall is another good possibility. Old Town School of Folk Music books a lot of bands. Warren played there two years ago. Not sure he could fill City Winery but maybe.
Lots of options.

I bought tickets for Macon. Saw ABB at the Macon City Auditorium the day the Big House opened and could not see much from rear floor seats so I'm trying the balcony.
Sales look pretty good based on what is still available on Ticket Master.

Tickets will be on the ground. I'm nowhere near Georgia or Macon, otherwise I would consider going.

Just announced that Damon Fowler has joined Dickey's band. Fowler has been playing all over the south east and was a full-time member of Freight Train Band. No slight to Aledort, but Fowler is a monster slide player, might be the best guitarist Dickey has had outside of the Allmans.

I'll probably be heading to the St. George theater show in Staten Island.
There's no mention of it on their website yet though.

Damon is a very good guitar player. He did several gigs with FTB. Thought I'd be seeing him with Butch when he played here in town, but Butch had Ben Sparaco & Heather Gillis playing guitars for that show and several others.

Bumpin' for a brother.
