Very nice Come And Go Blues. King is a top shelf guitar player. One of the best out there today.

Gregg wrote Come And Go Blues for Brothers and Sisters plus Wasted Words. But according to his book, Gregg wasn't that enthusiastic about Brothers and Sisters and expected the album not to sell as well as Eat A Peach and AFE. But it became the band's best selling album by a wide margin. And there was the item of Queen Of Hearts being rejected for the album and Ramblin' Man getting used.

Marcus King certainly lives up to having the sir name King. B. B., Freddy, Albert and now Marcus.

Here is King with another top shelf guitarist playing Summertime ⛱️ 🌞

@vtab

Here is a live version which features Chuck Leavell on piano.

Phil Walden wanted another album from the ABB even tho they suddenly broke up in the summer of 1976 over Gregg's testimony in the Scooter Herring drug fiasco.

So Johnny Sandlin and Sam Whiteside pulled selections from live recordings of the Brothers and Sisters version of the Allman Brothers, a few of which were recorded for live radio broadcasts and Wipe The Windows, Check The Oil, Dollar Gas ⛽ was released in November 1976.

Gregg, Butch and Dickey dismissed the album not liking the album art and concept, song selection etc. And it sold just modestly for Phil Walden and Capricorn.

But Jaimoe has complimented the album in several interviews and stated he's glad the album was released. That it has his longtime friend Lamar Williams on bass and Jaimoe said that version of the band could turn on a dime and leave some smoke on the stage and unfortunately didn't last long.
