NY's Seven Turns Allman Brothers Tribute Band would like to announce we will be holding auditions for a new lead singer. We’ve had a great run with Rob Leskody (thanks Rob!), but soon he will be departing for sunnier shores and we wish him well, he will be missed!

During the next few weeks we will be inviting those who are interested to our rehearsal space in Nesconset, Long Island. We seek a vocalist who has a good understanding of Gregg Allman’s style and phrasing. A love for the Allman Brothers is a plus! Occasionally, you will sing harmonies with Nick Stabile, who will continue to cover the Dickey Betts vocals. Seven Turns gigs on average about once a month and plays often at clubs like 89 North, Napper Tandys Smithtown, Big Kahuna, Katies, etc… as well as private parties, outdoor festivals and band shells.

Some requirements:
• You should live in Suffolk or Nassau county, and be available for Tuesday night rehearsals in Nesconset.
• If you play in other bands and gig on the weekends often, this won’t be the band for you… 90% of our shows are on Friday and Saturday nights.
• We are a sound-alike tribute, no need to look like Gregg Allman! (although if you do we are guessing you are a pretty cool dude...)
• Finally, a positive attitude with no ego or drama… we plan on being friends, not just band mates.
So if you're someone who is considering auditioning, here is a list of Allman Brothers songs for you to choose from. Six or seven of them would be fine for an audition, but please make sure one of them is either It’s Not my Cross to Bear or Stormy Monday (or both).
