It seems strange that Jorgen would "quiet quiting". It does not seem professional and getting essentially fired is probably not good for his career.

@shavian Yes I read Warren said Jorgen quit. And he was disappointed as they had built such a chemistry with Jorgen.
Warren said he could see it coming the past few years.
They have Scott signed to play all shows Govt Mule has on the books and Warren hopes Scott will become the permanent bass player.
So Jorgen left the band and wasn't forced out.

I was lucky enough to see Woody with the Mule 3 times. The first time was a show in Kansas City at Barney Allis Plaza June 26, 1999, just 10 days after my first Allman Brothers show at Sandstone, and only show with Dickey. I was really excited to see Warren Haynes for the first time but when I got there, I was totally blown away by Allen Woody. I just stood in front of the big speaker and got my ass kicked. I couldn't believe what I was hearing and feeling, so yeah, I get it when people say it was never the same after the original trio. I'll never forget that. I have zero memories of Warren or Matt from that show. Just Woody and the perpetual THUMP. They were opening for Big Head Todd and the Monsters but I just left after Mule's set. I was done. Totally and thoroughly blown away.
And somebody mentioned the shows later on with Oteil and Chuck, I was lucky enough to ride the rail for the KC show in Westport at teh Beaumont Club with that lineup. I was about 3 feet from Chuck. What an incredible show that was!! I got a setlist signed by all of them but somehow lost it. It's the only piece of music memorabilia I have ever lost. I think my ex may have stolen it from me. The world may never know.

@joe_the_lurker I was lucky enough to see Woody with the Mule five times. First being in 1994.
First time I saw Warren was in 1988 with Dickey on the Pattern Disruptive tour but it was a small venue.
First time seeing Matt Apts was about 1984 when Butch Trucks quit Betts, Hall, Leavell, Trucks when it became clear no label was interesting in signing them. I think it lasted one or two more years as Betts, Hall, Leavell. I do remember by later in 1985 Dickey was playing smaller venues, some just bars, as the Dickey Betts Band and Matt was still with Dickey. Then Dickey moved to Nashville in an attempt to break out as a country act and a label.
