John Hiatt W/Sonny Landreth ..Portland 2/2/18

Finding ourselves in Portland on Sat night, I took a look a what was happening in the "Live Music" section of the local rag and saw that Hiatt was in town and Sonny Landreth had returned with the "Goners". Calling the Box Office I was very disappointed to hear the words, Sold Out - over the phone. My Girlfriend didn't seem to grasp the importance of my needing to be at this show. "Honey....Sonny Landreth is back"....
Revolution hall, Portland. Sweet venue.
About 4 minutes of "It'll come to ya" with Sonny not playing slide...pretty good stuff here as John played some pretty fine rhythm guitar all evening and at times sounded great.....

Wow. I love them and had no idea about this! Thanks for the info.Wish they were headed East.

No worries. Me too, First saw JH in 1989 opening for the Craig Fuller fronted version of Little Feat.
They tore Portland up...There were moments after certain tunes where John just stood there, surveying the crowd from front row to balcony, with this huge smile while the applause went on.....
Go see him and btw, the opening act was John Hiatt solo acoustic

Wow, I wish I would have known, I would have come up from Eugene. I like Revolution Hall, saw John McLaughlin and Jimmy Herring there, among others.

Great venue. I believe this is all that is left of a High School?...Just the Auditorium, which was made into this stage? 2 full bars, with the "Theater" being upstairs. Great acoustics too; found two tickets (separately) out front before the Sold-Out show.
