Jeff Miller of New Monsoon - Condor Canyon

Here is a cool instrumental from New Monsoon's Jeff's Miller solo album Upon The Wing.

I enjoyed that. Had not heard of Jeff Miller.
It has a nature, outdoors airy feel that reminded me of Dickey's often overlooked High Falls which is a wonderful instrumental.

@robertdee Love High Falls. Another Dickey masterpiece. Jeff Miller is in the band New Monsoon. Over the last decade they scaled their touring back. Mostly a regional West Coast band. They have an excellent live album called New Monsoon Live. Several instrumentals are included. A song, Southern Dew definitely has an Allman influence. Here is a song, Country Interlude.

@kprestn712 That is a very nice instrumental. Country Interlude also reminds me of High Falls and Dickey's style in general.
I just looked up Jeff on the internet and indeed among his many influences was the Allman Brothers Band at the top.
Watched a video of Jeff solo singing and playing an acoustic guitar.
Thank you for turning me on to something new !!!
Maybe in 50 years Dickey will be regarded around the world as one of the geniuses in writhing instrumentals. Something Allman Brothers Band fans have known for years:)

@robertdee I hope so with Dickey. He is a master. Glad you enjoyed New Monsoon. They have some excellent songs in their catalog. Just a heads up regarding Jeff Miller, there is another musician by that name that does a lot of acoustic songs. Another band you will find some videos of Jeff is PA Furnace which is more of stripped down acoustic/electric band.

@kprestn712 Oh maybe I saw the wrong Jeff Miller. He was playing acoustic but I also saw Jeff Miller with New Monsoon Played a Strat on both videos I watched today I'll make sure it's New Monsoon when I listen some more.
