I've seen Jaimoe's band as often as any band out there, always a joy. Junior Mack is so good and I love hearing a jazzier take on some of the ABB material.

I've only seen them twice and really enjoyed it both times. Got Jaimoe to sign my 1970 Atco Records copy of the Allman Brother' first album. It will never be complete because the only signature I never got ( sometimes because I didn't have the album with me) is Gregg Allman's signature.

Also would love to them them tour with Allman Betts when this pandemic is over.

They just showed a guy on TV attacking an Asian man in a New York City Subway over the virus. Another being pushed to the sidewalk in Oakland. It's ridiculous. Like blaming the Jews for Jesus' crucifixion. Be nice  When I use to spend a lot of time in Manhattan, Chinatown was a wonderful section. Very nice people.

I'd always catch Jaimoe's band at Wanee, they'd usually kick off a day at the Mushroom Stage. Miss those days.

I think his home base is CT, so his band played NYC a lot when I lived there - Iridium, Brooklyn Bowl, BB's

Looks like Jaimoe's band is scheduled to tag along with Blackberry Smoke this summer, probably a slightly wider audience than Allman Betts. Hope it happens.

Love their take on "Melissa"

Junior Mack is the man.   Saw them many times at Wanee and once in NY during the Beacon run.   They also spent some time at Helen's Hilton ..... always left their shows with a big smile on my face ....

@sang I think we met right before Jaimoe took the Mushroom Stage at the final Wanee. Good times!

Nice pictures of Jaimoe.  Grand Larceny by Sea Level.

Jaimoe drum solo. Jaimoe often would use traditional grip unlike most modern drummers including Butch who use matched grip.

I think I've seen that vid before. I like this version a lot. This is closer to the version of the early "Duane & Gregg" vinyl that was released with a faster tempo. Junior Mack is a very good vocalist & guitar player - a good fit for Allman material.

Jaimoe always puts together good bands with jazzy sound.
