how to best appreciate Robin Trower?

Side note: There is a Bridge of Sighs in Venice. Between two prisons. During the Inquisition pirisoners were led across to their death. Legend has it the sighs of the phantom condemned can be heard as you pass underneath.

"Amazes me how people come on these threads and describe it as this or that, as if you could actually play any notes that anyone would care about"
"Strange how people hear different things."
Yep. Different people are different.

nevermind - overshare. Guess you had to be there - any you catch Trower 73-74?

Looking through my concert dvd's and found the "Living Out of Time" dvd Fujirich mentioned. Watching it now - and it is great. It is the older Trower, and unfortunately doesn't include Victims of the Fury ... but it is fun to watch and sounds great.

I would love a copy of Living out of time any way I could snake this off one of you?

I love Bill Graham, He was ahead of his time documenting shows at his venues. Here's prime time Trower, If you like him, you like him, Some folks don't? I dig him, Some vocalists work better with his style than others.
Winterland '75 Full Show B&W Intro by Bill
I just saw him a couple years back in NJ, I bought a couple CD's and asked about signed posters, The Gent at the merch said buy the $10 poster and he'll sign anything you ring him, He hangs in his van just outside the venue and obliges everyone, No pic's unless you're one of the last on line (I waited). Legend in my ears.
I'm not one for CD's loaded with cover tunes, but that night one of the discs I bought was called Roots And Branches, A Wonderful Spin!
