How Guitars Are Made
I found this article/video in the New York Times today and thought y'all might find it interesting. I did. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/11/28/magazine/martin-guitar-factory.html?action=click&module=Editors%20Picks&pgtype=Homepage
Much love!
Thank you. Enjoyed that.
There is a guitar store in my hometown and one of the electric signs in the window is for Martin and it says "Since 1832".
Jim Stafford who was a comedian but could play very well would say in his act that the guitar originated in Spain and "the word guitar is Spanish for the word guitar".
Before the virus hit you could tour the Martin factory. It is closed to visitors at this time. At the end of the tour you could pick up a set of coasters that are actually the sound hole cut outs from their tops. Pretty cool. Hopefully things get better soon and it will be open once again.

Now that's a great idea by Martin. I'd go for a set of those! Here's to things getter better sooner than later!
