Sorry I can't post it but man, one of the best I've heard. Stapleton absolutely crushed it!

A great arrangement, amazing voice and a delicate telecaster are simple but great ingredients.

No auto-tune, wah-wah's, or other manufactured sound.

Followed by the all women flyover, that was a helluva powerful performance

Bravo, Chris!

Chris nailed it!  Not overly dramatic, as some have done.  I thought that Sheryl Lee Ralph did a great job with "Lift Every Voice and Sing", too.

... ummm, okay.  I guess the NFL doesn't want us to share Ms. Stanley's performance.

  1. Not long ago I saw a few people on CNN who were saying the National Anthem had to go. Must be replaced with something else.

I can't recall right now what was the problem with the National Anthem. Anyway guess that blew over like getting rid of Columbus Circle in Manhattan and the statue of old Chris which has been there since 1892.

Here it is! Our National Anthem!!!! ( click on Watch on YouTube )

@stormyrider Must have been some real music. I'm not much of a hip hop guy but that seems to be all we get at halftime Superbowl in recent years.

You might say then I'm over the hill! Guess I am:)
