Froggie Bottom H-12 Parlor...$11,125.00 at Wildwood guitars in CO
I love parlor guitars. D's are sound great but are so big. Parlors are much easier to play and have great tone maybe not as much projection or bass as a D
Being the hacker that I am I don't know a lot about pedals and how to use them. I do have a distortion and knock off Klon I got for under $100 just to try out but I just go directly into my tube amps when I am making noise.
Thought this article on the 10 pedals to have as I found it very educational on what they basically do and sound like.

@bill_graham Here is a Fender Custom Shop Strat with two humbuckers rather than three single coil.
Jimmy Herring uncharisticly blows a note big time at about :58 but shrugs it off and continues with a fine job.

@bill_graham That is a sweet sounding Strat. Very fine. That guy is a very good player too.
I have a SG I like a lot but for certain types of blues I like my old beat up Strat I bought at a yard sale years ago.
Little blues right here Strat style.

Joe Bonamassa on figuring out the Gibson SG
https://www.guitarworld.com/lessons/joe-bonamassa-gibson-sg-licks
@bill_graham I head Joe say in an interview a few years ago a SG is NOT a different looking Les Paul. They are completely different and Joe said his mistake for years was trying to play a SG like a Les Paul. You have to figure out how to play a SG because it's different than a Les Paul.
I think Joe said he thought the big difference was the design on the body since originally until Les Paul the man wanted his name removed, because it started out in 1961 as a tweek or improvement of the original Les Paul because briefly Les Paul's name was on the headstock. But Joe eventually figured out it's a completely different guitar with it's own best way to play it to get the best performance.
Gretsch market share has picked up a little since Covid. This man loves Gretsch guitars and the Bigsby whammy bar. Stays in tune too!!
Alright ABB fans. This is a most interesting story about Duane Allman's 1961 Gibson Les Paul/SG. Don't miss reading this.
Nice interview with one of my favorite guitar players Luthar Dickenson of the North Mississippi Allstars. Talks gear, time with the Black Crowes and participating in the Allman Family Revival.

Murphy lab Wildwood 1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard gloss
@bill_graham I'd be proud to have that guitar. Sounds good and looks good.
Dickey played one like that about 2007 in Great Southern. It was one of three cool Custom shop Les Pauls Dickey received about 2007 and they gave him a new Dickey signature Les Paul Goldtop. The 2001 he played for a few years is the guitar Duane Betts plays as his number one now.

Are neck and bridge pickups interchangeable?
@bill_graham I could spend days on Wildwoods site. Bought a 2001 R8 from them...great place to deal with
@goldtop they have beautiful gear for sure.
Any pics of your R8 you can share? Love seeing others guitars.
I lust after an R9 bourbon or darkburst with minimal flame like the one in the video. Maybe after I retire.

It's a rare Tri-Burst which is a Fender color scheme.
Odd Les Paul tone? It sounds a bit sharp to me.
@goldtop that is a beauty with a great top and color! You are a lucky man indeed! I bet it sounds sweet.
Keeping with the Les Paul theme.

Murphy lab 1960 Les Paul reissue Paul Murphy hand painted. Evidently Murphy doesn't hand finish guitars any more making it collectable.
