They sound bubblegummy but they used some very interesting harmonies and bass lines (and the drummer is a hoot 
. A seriously underrated, underappreciated band. I called it a guilty pleasure because it's easy to dismiss them because of their songs. But sometimes it's not the song, but what you do with it.
