Promoting the Gregg Allman band on their Just Before the Bullets Fly Tour in 1988, with Dr. Dave Curtis & the Housecall band being the opener. By 1988, Gregg got to be great friends with the latter's band, ex-Cactus soundman turned bass player Monte "Mondo" Thomas. They occasionally had some hilarious adventures as friends over the years up unti Gregg's passing in 2017. This interview done at KILO 94 AM radio in Colorado while stoned out of their minds was one such adventure, as Mondo himself explains in the very beginning of the video before the tape plays.
