I got no idea about the rest of you rednecks and redneckesses, but I'm about as excited as I can be for these TWO (2) shows.
FYI - there are two grand circa 1920 theatres in Bham - the Alabama seats about 2200 and has been booking live music at least since the 80's. Seen lot's of great shows there - Mule, TTB, GA, Knopfler, Crowes, SRV, Plant, etc etc...
The Lyric re-opened about 3 years ago. Seats about 750.
I had a fantasy of the Allmans playing multiple nights at the Alabama...but Warren at the Lyric for two nights is the next best thing.
