This is an incredible interview if you've got 22 minutes and happen to be so inclined.  Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler is a very personable and humble dude, a proper English gentleman.

I'm reading Butler's recent book, "Into The Void:  From Birth To Black Sabbath".  Highly recommended, really a GREAT read, and very honest, including the massive substance abuse in the band.  If anyone doesn't know, besides being a monster bassist, Geezer was the lyricist for Sabbath..........with only a few exceptions, he wrote ALL the lyrics.  Probably would have to be considered the most brainy of the bunch.  They really paid their dues, and were very, very poor in the early days.  And, like SO many in the early 70's, despite selling many millions of records...........management was taking the vast majority of it.  Enjoy!

My younger brother was a huge Black Sabbath fan so I became one by association I guess. Interesting to hear these details years later. Thanks for posting.
