I think the definitive photos are the ones taken by Jim Marshall for the LAFE album, not just the front cover but also the back. The photos say so much about the band.
@crosseyedcat. Of course Jaimoe isn't in the jailhouse photos because they put him in the segregated "black" jail.
The color photo Jim Marshall took of the band that has Dickey on the far left which is on the Fillmore Concerts CD that came out in the early 90's with extra tracks is my favorite. You can see the colorful clothes they wore b
@jszfunk Hey haven't seen that one before. Those six were playing music like no other band before it. A lot the great bands did that. Had their own creative style that was new.

The mugshot one is kind of funny. Duane is smiling, Gregg kind of is and Dickey just looks pissed at the whole thing. 😀
