I was one of those who found the Raspberries to be a little bubble-gummy ... initially. They had great hooks and melodies - cited as an inspiration from so many artists and bands. Upon closer examination, I learned to appreciate Eric Carmen's singing voice. One of the champions of "power pop".
Another angelic voice for the celestial choir.
