My wife and I went to see Donavon Frankenreiter and Matt Grundy at the Cutting Room in NYC for Valentine's Day. As always a great show by these Gents. Being a guitar lover I'm a huge fan of Matt Grundy, I believe I may have said it before but he is to Donavon Frankenreiter what Maury Muelheisen was to Jim Croce. He compliments Donavon's smooth vocal delivery and provides some sweet licks to his songs, He plays a hell of a harp too. Another dynamic duo.

The show was opened by Christina Holmes who wrote the song Always with the loving nod to her Dad who passed away and contributed to the song with sentiments he relayed to her in an unopened card discovered after his passing.

I'll just let their music do the talking.
