Not sure if you've heard, but these 2 have been added to the Southern Rock Cruise in January. Dickey won't be playing this time under Doctors orders. I've never seen these 2 play, so I'm looking forward to checking them out.
Those two are pumped and have vastly improved. Devon has several of Gregg's guitars now and Duane Betts just posted a picture of his axes ready to go for the next concerts and the Muscle Shoals sessions. I happened to visit their Facebook pages ( do it a few times a month) and there is Duane Betts with a western hat and one of Dickey's signature Les Paul guitars plus in the rack next to it was Dickey's old 1955 tobacco burst Fender Stratocaster handtail and Dickey's big red Gibson ES-335 hallow body. Dickey said in an interview a few years back that he owns about 30 guitars but to see his son with 3 of the guitars Dickey used so often including the ABB during the 1990s may indicate the torch has been passed to the next generation.
