Wonderful news. Carol is a wonderful bass player and studio musician with so many credits it's staggering.
She is the Hal Blaine of bass players. Blaine passed away a few years ago. A drummer who plays on so many hits we've all heard hundreds of times!!
She was a part of the "Wrecking Crew" but hated the name. Several of its members have been inducted individually. Hal Blaine, Earl Palmer, and Carol Kaye have all been inducted into the Hall of Fame. Carol Kaye was inducted in the Musical Excellence category. She deserves this honor.
RIP Brian Wilson.
